In 1998 Bonnie and her husband moved back to Palomar Mountain thinking she had retired. Her twenty year career in sales and marketing had taken her all over North America as a sought after seminar speaker and corporate consultant. This is the second time Bonnie and Don have lived on Palomar. They owned their home in the 1970's, sold it a few years later, and bought it back in 1998. They recently purchased the place next door with more land and are working to create a ranch to share with family and friends.
Back on the Mountain, Bonnie created Palomar Mountain e-News as a free service to the community. The broadcast grew to span the globe with property owners living all around the world. A couple years later, she sent a message out about a cabin that had been for sale for a long time. When it sold in a few days, and several other sales were quickly connected with a click of a mouse, she realized she had quite a niche with her data base. After encouragement from neighbors and friends, she began a new career in Real Estate.
With a goal of maximizing today's technology for the benefit of the community, she has been blessed with tremendous success. According to Remax, she is in the top 1% of Realtors Worldwide, having earned the prestigious Chairman's Circle Award. Consequently, there are many wonderful new residents and weekenders anxious to restore their vintage
cabins, enjoy their custom home, build out their ranch, or develop their private estate.

Bonnie's husband, Don is helpful in so many ways. Now that he is retired, he's never been so busy! In addition to putting up Real Estate signs, he got himself one of those 'green convertibles'. So you'll occasionally see 'Tractor Don' out and about on his John Deere, or off for a ride on Buddy.
He's not one of those guys who you'll catch on line through.
Don thinks 'logging on' is putting a nice piece of oak in the woodstove.
